Here at The Joshua Tree we had a one off call out for a huge 500 year old + English Oak tree that had fallen in the high winds.

We was asked to restore as much of the wood as possible, so 99% of the tree was recycled at the clients request.

We chipped up a huge amount of wood, logged up tons of logs and The Gifted Joiner will be planking all of the main trunk and limbs eventually making bespoke tables and furniture made to order.

It was a shame to see such a beautiful tree fall naturally due to Ghana-derma attacking the base, this made the root system hollow, weak and rotten causing the tree to fall into our clients garden.

Luckily no damage was caused other than a few flower beds and fence posts.
